Post Game Interview: Chrinel Marcus

11 Feb 2017 by Patrick Chong

1. How do you feel to represent Malaysia for the first time?

C: I feel really happy. I’ve always wanted to be in the national team. It was so exiting! Playing in a different country, and meeting new people. At first it was scary and intimidating to play with national players but my team mates were really encouraging. They helped me realised that I trained hard to be in the team and all I needed to do was play my best.

2. What was your expectation before the Floorball World Championship Qualifier?

C: Its was my first international competition so I didn’t really know what to expect.

3. What will you improve after seeing all how other international players played?

C: I would improve on being more aggressive and confident with bringing the ball and giving harder shots.

4. What is your word of encouragement for those players in your club?

Train hard and smart. Ask yourself what you need to improve and be focused to achieve it. Don’t just follow what other players do, it may not work for you. Do what works for you but also listen to your coach. Lastly have fun and enjoy Floorball
